The Swords Of Swords Of Sorrow – Designs Of Sergio Davila

When you have a title or even like Swords Of Sorrow, at some point you will need to actually design the swords in question. For Dynamite's big upcoming event that job was given to artist Sergio Davila who is drawing the main series that ties the whole event together. Here is a look at the swords in question and a checklist for the entire event.

The swords seem to fit the person who is using them. A broadsword for Red Sonja, a rapier for Lady Zorro, a cutlass for Jane Porter and a katana for Kato all make sense. The ones for Vampirella, Jungle Girl and Dejah Thoris are more custom but again seem to fit the character. Not sure why Jennifer Blood drew the short sword though…
