John Byrne Just Likes To Draw The Thing Too Much

2015-05-02_114545_Scan4_1Here's a recent commission from John Byrne.  He shared the brief,

11" x 17" illustration of the Fantastic Four, landscape orientation as this one is a companion to the following commission:

The details are:

– please draw Reed, Sue, Johnny, and She-Hulk in the black and white uniforms you designed

– ponytail hairstyle for Sue, please draw Sue visible and using her force field power in a manner of your choosing

background of Latveria

Did you see the issue? John hadn't, but one poster pointed it out to him.

Fantastic drawing, JB.  Love the background.

Did you draw The Thing instead of the She-Hulk by mistake?

To John's response.

Damn.

But it all worked out fine,

Sorry about the screw up, Mark. I'll do a She-Hulk on a separate sheet and have Jim include it with this one.

No charge for the extra drawing, obviously!!

Marvel Two-For-One Featuring The Thing?
