For those of you wanting to become urban vigilantes and fight crime, you now have a better option, other than Kevlar, to fight off those pesky bullets. Introducing liquid armor! Created over in Poland at the Moratex Institute of Security Technologies, this new technology, made up of a non-Newtonian fluid, offers better protection against bullets than Kevlar. The science discussed in the video is actually pretty groovy, what with the liquid vest being able to do things like stopping bullets fired at 1,400 feet per second, and definitely worth spending two minutes of your life to watch.
