Be One With The Band This June In Adventure Time: Marceline And The Scream Queens Enchiridion HC
Coming this June, from KABOOM! An imprint of the award-winning BOOM! Studios, is Adventure Time: Marceline and the Scream Queens Enchiridion Hardcover. The book is written and illustrated by award-winning cartoonist Meredith Gran (Octopus Pie) and will also feature short stories from several indie comic superstars including Jen Wang (In Real Life) and Faith Erin Hicks (Friends with Boys). The hardcover edition will include never-before-seen extras, and an inside look at the making of Adventure Time: Marceline and the Scream Queens!
Fans of the popular Adventure Time show on Cartoon Network will recognize this iconic character that has broken off into her own comic book series for quite some time now. This particular hardcover collects a story that focuses on Princess Bubblegum's newfound interest in rock 'n' roll. She volunteers to be Marceline's paranormal rock band's manager for their major tour across the land of Ooo. However, the tour isn't a glamorous one as the band is threatened by snobby scenesters and beasts. Sounds like this story will allow us to be one of those roadies that wears "I'm with the band" t-shirts.
As always, The team that works on these comics constantly create fun and entertaining stories. To be honest, I don't even think you have to watch the show to be able to enjoy them. I've seen a few episodes here and there, but I've read way more of the comics. Keep your eyes peeled for the Adventure Time: Marceline and the Scream Queens Enchiridion Hardcover this June!
