Crash Ryan Flies Towards The Big Screen

Crash-ryanAnother Marvel Comic is being adapted for film… but odds are you may not heard of this one. In 1984, Ron Harris created a four-issue miniseries for the Epic Comics imprint called Crash Ryan. It was the story set in a 1935 where the skies were filled with super airplanes and flying airports. Ryan, a pilot for the United Airmen, went up against a masked mad man called The Doom and his army of evil.

The film is being developed by producer Ryan Heppe and he is co-writting the script with David Cowper (Road Dawgs) off of a 50-page outline created by Heppe and Harris. The film is said to be a mash-up of Indiana Jones and Star Wars with the old Saturday matinee feel.
