787e17bf-590c-4827-9309-48cd4f8512a0-600x200Avatar Press is turning out en force for London Super Con coming up this weekend, March 14-15th in the UK. Publisher William Christensen will be present, Bleeding Cool's own Rich Johnston will be busying himself with reportage, but as for star power, you can prepare to be dazzled by the blindingly brilliant and talented Garth Ennis, Max Brooks, Kieron Gillen, and Simon Spurrier.

Screen Shot 2015-03-10 at 12.55.39 AMIf you think I'm exaggerating, try asking for them to sign your books without feeling a little in awe. Simon Spurrier, who wrote the long-running webseries Crossed: Wish You Were Here, which is now collected in print trade editions, will be discussing upcoming Avatar work, and Kieron Gillen will be signing his series Uber and talking about the forthcoming Crossed: Homo Tortor series launching at issue #75 for C-Day on April 15th.

maxMax Brooks, in particular, will be celebrating the arrival of Volume 2 of his series Extinction Parade, which tells the tale of a previously unimaginable apocalypse pitting a rather spoiled and self-assured race of vampires against a world overrun by zombies and therefore increasingly devoid of their food source. You might also like to note that Brooks will be appearing for a signing at Waterstone's in Piccadilly on Friday, March 13th.
