Miranda's Gary Is Fox's Lucifer
To British viewers, there is only one role for Tom Ellis. That is Gary, the on-again-off-again boyfriend in BBC sitcom Miranda.
And now he has been cast as Lucifer, in the upcoming Fox adaptation of the DC/Vertigo comic.
Bleeding Cool ran the very first script review of the pilot, here. In it, we said that the script was such that it would need an extraordinary fellow it lift it up, to make it all about him, and the only person who came to mind was Russell Brand.
This is probably not that man.
