Mike Mayhew's Process Art For Lady Demon Cover

One of the best parts about writing comics is seeing your stories come to life through the work of some amazingly talented artists. One of my favorite artists that I've gotten to work with also happens to be one of my favorite people in the industry… Mike Mayhew. Mike and I met when Jim McLauchlin got him to draw the cover for my Unusual Suspects book I wrote and gave to the Hero Initiative. A couple years later I worked with him again along with Steve Niles and Jeff Frank on Savage from Shadowline.

Mike's art always stands out from anyone else on the stands and I'm always happy to see him get more work like the recently concluded The Star Wars series from Dark Horse or his upcoming Avengers #43 issue for Marvel.

Here we get to see Mike's cover for Dynamite's Lady Demon #2. The finished pencils, the colors and then the full dressed finished product.
