Shout! Factory Launches Free Streaming Service With MST3K

MST3K-logoThe Shout! Factory has launched a free, ad-supported video streaming service that starts with 1,000 hours of programming including episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000. The new service is at ShoutFactoryTV.com as well as Roku and it plans to add additional connected devices soon.

The service is starting with 30-plus episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000; animated comedy series Home Movies from Adult Swim; It's Garry Shandling's Show; Father Knows Best; Dennis the Menace; The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis; and The Ernie Kovacs Show. plus specials including Steve Martin's Comedy Is Not Pretty and Steve Martin: Wild and Crazy Guy, as well as Mel Brooks: Make a Noise. Plus there are 16 films from Werner Herzog, some Roger Corman movies, the Marx Brothers' A Night in Casablanca, A Room With a View, Hoop Dreams and Death of a Salesman, starring Dustin Hoffman.

Starting with 1,000 hours, the company expects to add 200 hours of new content per month while taking others out of the rotation.
