J.K. Simmons To Host Saturday Night Live

jk-simmonsActor J.K. Simmons has recently won a Golden Globe, a Critic's Choice Award and got nominated for an Oscar for best supporting actor in Whiplash. He's also known for playing the Iconic J. Jonah Jameson in the Sony Spider-Man films as well as a television regular on Law & Order as Dr. Emil Skoda, Vern Schillinger on Oz or Assistant Chief Will Pope on The Closer.

NBC has now announced that Simmons will be the host for Saturday Night Live on January 31st. Musical guest will be D'Angelo. This will be both the hosts and musical guests first appearance on the late night comedy show.
