Tom Hardy Exits Suicide Squad

FRD-DS-00557r.JPGTom Hardy (The Dark Knight Rises) has dropped out of Warner Bros upcoming film Suicide Squad. Hardy was set to play Rick Flagg, the leader of the squad that would also consist of Will Smith (Deadshot), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jared Leto (The Joker), Jai Courtney (Boomerang) and Cara Delevingne (Enchantress).

The reason for Hardy's exit is said to be scheduling. He is currently filming The Revenant with Leonardo DiCaprio and the film is running long which will butt right up against the press tour for Mad Max: Fury Road leaving the actor no time to shoot Suicide Squad.

Jake Gyllenhaal is said to have an offer to replace Hardy as Flagg but it is unknown at this time if he will accept.
