New Disney Animated Movie Isn't What The Internet Thought
The Internet has been buzzing for sometime that Disney was going to announce Frozen 2 for the planed released date of January 23rd for a new animated film. The Internet was wrong.
The film now in that slot is called Strange Magic, a new release from Lucasfilm. Strange Magic was inspired by Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream and uses popular songs from the last 60 years to tell a madcap fairy tale about goblins, elves, fairies and imps as the battle over a powerful potion.
The voice cast includes Alan Cumming, Evan Rachel Wood, Kristin Chenoweth, Maya Rudolph and Sam Palladio. Gary Rydstrom directs a story by George Lucas.
