Ricky Gervais To Play Medieval Wizard On Galavant

ricky gervaisIn what may be the most unique mid-season series, ABC has just added some star power to their musical-comedy-period series Galavant. According to EW, comedian and actor Ricky Gervais has landed a guest spot on the series as a magical wizard named Xanax who has all the best potions in the land and helps folks through alchemy induced trips down memory lane. Gervais joins previously announced guest-stars John Stamos and Hugh Bonneville.

The series is expected to debut sometime in 2015.
