Which Flash Villain Is This? And If He's There Do We Get…

So far the new series The Flash has been casting a lot of well known villains to throw at Barry Allen (Grant Gustin)… Heatwave (Dominic Purcell), Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), Plastique (Kelly Frye), Girder (Greg Finley), The Weather Wizard (Chad Rook) and The General (Clancy Brown) as well as bringing in the Clock King (Robert Knepper) who first appeared on Arrow.

But TVline is saying that the seventh episode will feature an electricity based villain named Farooq trying to get revenge on Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh). The villain just happens to hit at the same time as both the city and Barry are having power outages. This is the same episode that has Girder making his debut.

I have a pretty good knowledge of the Rogues and of DC villains in general and even with Google I'm not connecting the dots to an existing villain. So unless one of our board members can come up with it… then it looks like the series may be creating some original villains as well, which you would expect but up until now we really haven't heard of.

Also, while trying to look up Farooq I noticed that William Sadler had been cast as Simon Stagg for the second episode. I totally missed it at the time, but Stagg has a long history in the comics and usually where you have Stagg you end up with Metamorpho.
