Is This What Time Runs Out Is All About? – Bottle Earths!

DC and Marvel have often stepped alongside each other, through pure bloody minded coincidence. Swamp Thing and Man Thing, Doom Patrol and X-Men, and there was the time that both Batman and Captain America were killed by a magic gun and their souls sent back in time, having to live through different eras before returning to the present day – while in the meantime, their sidekick took over their role.

It happens.

And it seems, while DC Comics are plotting their Band-Aid, with various earths trapped in bottles for some multidimensional battle and Crisis – that I'm told that the end of Marvel's Time Runs Out will also deal with a multidimensional battle and Crisis with a very similar take. If not bottle earths, then something damn close.

DC has already shown us an impending Earth War. Marvel seems to show something similar with the incursions of other Earths.

Maybe, to paraphrase, it's just Bottle Earth time…. will one of the two publishers blink?
