Is Stephen Amell Cooking Up Something With Facebook For SDCC?

stephen amellStephen Amell has quickly become a fan favorite for his portrayal of Oliver Queen on the CW's Arrow and for his very open and candid social media presence. He is very active on Facebook, Twitter and does a lot of communicating with his fans. He's also doesn't seem content in just being Oliver and has branched out as co-owner of a winery called Nocking Point (a name based on where the arrow meets the bow string).

Recently Amell announced on Facebook:

You know I'm going to be at San Diego Comic-Con International this year, but you have no idea what I'm going to be doing. The Arrow panel on Friday evening is the literal tip of the iceberg. Feel free to speculate. There are (at least) 3 more things on my schedule. Big things. Needless to say, I plan on winning Comic-Con this year.

Captain Style.

And then this was at the end of another post from late last night:

Finally… I never really got into the specifics of why I went to Facebook last week. First of all, we filmed something cool. But overall, it was an opportunity for me (and Facebook) to coordinate with one another and make this experience better. All of this to say, your participation and enthusiasm for this space facilitated a trip to FACEBOOK HEADQUARTERS!! Did I get to high-five Mark Zuckerberg..? Not this time. Does that mean I'll never high-five him? You'd do well not to bet against the power of the page.

Captain Amell.

So will we be seeing whatever he filmed at Facebook while at the San Diego Comic Con… not sure, but where else would you want to show something and get the biggest pop culture audience possible? Also, you'll notice on his page he calls himself an actor/director yet his IMDB.com page shows no directorial credits. So is this thing he filmed at Facebook something he directed or is he hinting that he will be directing upcoming episodes of Arrow? Guess we'll have to wait for more info to find out.
