From Northampton To New Orleans – Alan Moore Talks On Video About Kurt Amacker's Dead Souls

Take it away, Alan.

He's not alone. Rock stars Dani Filth and Jyrki 69 have joined him to talk about Dead Souls: Resurrection, a redrawn and remastered collection of Kurt Amacker's comic, to be published by Dark Notes Press and funded by Kickstarter.

The comic has been completely redrawn by Douglas Freeman, with seventy new pages, a cover by Dan Brerton and an introduction by Dani Filth.

Here's the precis,

In the year 2000, the historical killers Vlad Dracula and Erzsebet Bathory have discovered each other in New Orleans. Neither understands why they are alive and immortal. Within days, the two set out to slaughter the city's criminals. But, their plan quickly falls apart when they attract the attention of both the police and St. Germaine–a religious fanatic who hunts their kind with a sacred weapon thought lost to the ages.

And, Vlad and Erzsebet are not alone. Across the globe, more and more of history's most infamous killers and tyrants are returning to life. And deep in Antarctica, a man from Vlad's past has amassed a paramilitary cult of immortals–and he wants Dracula at any cost. In Dead Souls: Resurrection, evil fights evil–and mankind is caught in the middle.

The Kickstarter runs right here.
