The Wicked + The Divine Sells Out Of 53,000 Print Run – Plus Launch Party Photos And #2 Preview

The announcement went out yesterday, but I managed to get the number. Kieron Gillen and Jamie McKelvie's The Wicked + The Divine #1, published this week, has sold out of 53,000 copies from Image Comics across nine covers, and has gone to a second printing.

They also had a launch party for the comic, with attendees from comic books (Mark Buckingham and Al Ewing) and Hollywood (Felicia Day) and probably gaming and music as well. Summer Camp were playing. Kieron Gillen wore makeup and fell over. And Jamie McKelvie is…. living well.
