IDW At Diamond Retailer Day, London – Bring Back GI Joe

Dirk Wood from IDW began "So I was told that My Little Pony is not a real comic book, sorry…"

It wasn't a great day. Their editor -in-chief, Chris Ryall, was being held by UK customs. Though twenty minutes after we posted that story, surely by coincidence, he was suddenly released without another word.

And then technical incompatibilities prevented the video presentation being played, despite many attempts from many people over a couple of hours. But thankfully, Dirk was happy to talk through an upswing in IDW sales in the UK of 30%, the news that the GI Joe comic would return in the Autumn and tried to clarify some of the issues regarding the shipping of Artist Editions to British stores.

And didn't have arms wide enough to show the size of the Peanuts Artist Edition volumes coming.

And, yes, the possibility of a GI Joe/ My Little Pony crossover was raised.
