A Scary Way Of Working – Behind The Scenes Of In Fear, The First Feature From Sherlock Director Jeremy Lovering

I don’t know if you saw In Fear in cinemas or if you’ll want to catch up with this week’s DVD and Blu-ray release, but I will tell you, it’s a pretty effective, ambitious and unusual scare picture. The crowd at Frightfest certainly rated it.

The following video gives you an insight into how the film was put together, and it’s not the typical process by any means. As you’ll see, the actors weren’t given a full script and scenes were staged in which shocks and surprised happened that they were not told about at all.

Well, it doesn’t look like the easiest way to make a movie, but that’s real commitment to getting the scares to play out with panic and the closest thing they can get to actual fear.

In Fear is out on DVD and Blu-ray in both the UK and the US right now. Here’s a quick TV trailer.
