A coffee shop called Dumb Starbucks opened last week in Los Angeles. An actual coffee shop, modelled very closely on Starbucks, just with the word Dumb tacked on.

Fielder is a comedian and humorist and… I’ll admit it, if I’ve seen him before, I quickly forgot all about him. But this prank – for want of a better term – has caught my imagination. Will he end up saying anything meaningful about parody law? About the gullibility of the coffee-buying public? Even about Starbucks, somehow? I don’t know. But he’s certainly put himself in a great position to say something, and I’m now leaning forward and listening…
