Paris To Get Its Very Own Comics Art School, Funded By Guy Delcourt

guyThe most famous French language comics schools are the St. Luc Institute in Brussels and the Angoulême School.

Strangely, I don't think that Paris had anything to match…. until now.

Guy Delcourt is the head of France's second largest comics publisher Group Delcourt, including Delcourt, Sun, Quadrants, and Tonkam.

And ahead of this week's Angoulême Comic Art Festival, he announced on French media this morning that he will be investing in a new comics school in Paris.

The aim is to invest in new and upcoming talent and to create a place in the nation's capital go celebrate and propagate the form….
