Drew Barrymore And Adam Sandler Reunite In First Trailer For Blended
Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler Reunited! is the big selling point for Blended, which seems like it could be a sort of spiritual sequel to their previous boy-meets-girl rom coms comprised of 50 First Dates and The Wedding Singer.
I liked those movies a lot, but this looks really awful. And adding children to the mix ratchets up the annoying potential tenfold. At least Africa is a setting we don't see very often in rom coms, I guess, if we're grasping at straws for something positive to say about this. Also, maybe this is just a bad trailer.

Blended comes out on May 23, 2014, so they're obviously hoping it'll be like a Hangover/Bridesmaids type of summer comedy blockbuster, but it'll have to be a lot better than this trailer makes it seem to make that kind of money.
