ComiXology All Over The World – What do Charlie Sheen and The Walking Dead have in common?

They're always winning. No, really. According to ComiXology sales last week taken from iOS in-app purchase charts, The Walking Dead has, yet again, virtually overtaken charts across the world; the zombie craze has swept across all of North America and Europe, overthrowing last week's competitor, Saga #16, and holding off the likes of Batman (2011) and The Justice League (2011). Does that mean kryptonite-infused zombies would be Superman's ultimate challenge? I smell a crossover in the near future…

And speaking of Saga, the latest issue has practically fallen off the grid, only appearing at the number 4 spot in Sweden. Saga lacks the staying power of Walking Dead, though the latter's success can clearly be attributed to the ridiculously popular television series. (A Saga series, perhaps? Could be interesting.) As for other notable contenders, Uncanny X-Men showed up on almost every chart around the world, coming in as high as fourth place in Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Ireland.

It's too bad for Wolverine that he couldn't score a monumental victory in his home country – quite the betrayal, Canada.

China has managed to avoid the undead plague for quite some time now, for the latest issue of Walking Dead is noticeably absent from the chart. Instead, China enjoyed things from swamps, seven issues of Swamp Thing taking up the majority of the top ten – in reverse chronological order, too!
