Johnny Segura is an artist born and raised in Louisiana. He travels the Southern US convention circuit pimping out his American Manga art style. Jackie K. is his wife and co-creater of 2 Tin Bean Cans Fucking. " I have no idea where my half the shit I say comes from. I spend my free time trolling the web and drawing, so I am sure it came from the bowels of the internet. We were watching something stupid on Netflix and I blurted it out. We looked at each other and new that was our next comic, so we took the idea and ran with it, laughing the entire time. I get this big shit-eating grin when I look at the artwork for it. The idea for the book is utterly stupid", she says.

Johnny Segura: "I think there is too much dark and realistic art going on in comics. I wanted to create something obviously cartoony but for adults. Something fun, nasty, and violent. Pretty much the embodiment of everything I love. Jack had these characters she would always be drawing called Marvin Buttsmash and Chickenhead, so we found a way to make them fit in the story. Marv thinks he is running the joint but is scared shitless of Chickenhead. I do not want to give too much away. It will be three issues of love, filth, violence, and titties…. long, long tin titties."

Segura does all the artwork for Two Tin Beans and Jackie K. helps write and edit. "I think we are a good team. We both have a fucked-up sense of humor", Jackie K. says.

We have already met our $300 Kickstarter goal. I kept the goal low because the story was originally going to be in black and white. Backers have expressed interest in getting the book colored, which I would do myself. There is a $1000 stretch goal to get it printed in color. This would give us enough room to color it, get the book and posters printed, and have funds for shipping.

If we can make it to $2000, backers will receive a free 24 page Bean Can sketch book and Spill the Beans sticker.

I already have up to page 11 inked and ready along with two of the three posters. The first issue is going to be 32 pages and if there is enough interest, we will be working on the next issue in January.
