Aaron Haaland of A Comic Shop in Orlando, Florida writes;

Hey Fandom! It's another week of new comics now! We have Inhumanity and Superior Venom from Marvel, Rover Red Charlie from Avatar, Ghosted and Velvet from Image, and some great Pak Superman from DC.

First up Ennis' Rover Red Charlie was the most fun I've had read one of his books in awhile. It's what would happen to man's best friend after the fall of man. Basically is Crossed from the point of view of the dogs! It has the violence of a Crossed book without any of that sex stuff or gore porn and the charm of Homeward Bound (if a dog was bound to a dude on fire). I highly recommend it if you like any post apocalyptic anything. God is Dead continued to excited me, I love seeing atheists use their science to kill Gods. Ghosted, the Skybound book about stealing a ghost from a haunted house, is here as one of those affordable Image $10 volume 1's.

DC's had 3 good Superman books this week! Well, Earth 2 isn't really a Superman book, but Earth 2 Superman is insanely awesome. Pak's Action run really starts here, Superman vs monsters.

Marvel's Inhumanity was good. Really, it was a good comic. I know there's blow back about this being a set up for Marvel Movies to use "inhuman" as their "mutants", but a good comic is a good comic in my book. I'm not going to spoil the end of this one-shot, but it does have pay off. It did it's job, I'm interested in Inhumans where I really wasn't before. Superior Spider-man and Venom worked, I loved seeing the tension between these two now that Venom is Flash and Peter is Ock. And if you want some classic Peter Parker, Amazing Spider-man #700.1 is your fix.
