Oh The Inhumanity – Marvel's Teasers Continue

SeeSomething_SaySomething

A few years ago, I wrote a radio ad for the London Metropolitan Police. It was basically "if you see someone acting a bit like a terrorist, call this number".  Very dodgy, but at the time I was grabbing every freelance job I could get and the creative director didn't want to write it. I didn't blame him. It went like this

The man at the end of the street doesn't talk to his neighbours much, because he likes to keep himself to himself. He pays with cash because he doesn't have a bank card, and he keeps his curtains closed because his house is on a bus route. This may mean nothing, but together it could all add up to you having suspicions.

I wrote it, the client cut off the bit I put about "of course, it could all just be nothing, but better be safe than sorry" and the ad was justifiably banned by the Advertising Standards Authority after massive complaints. Truth be told I'd forgotten all about it.

But seeing Marvel's continuing teaser posters for Inhumanity and Inhuman, it call came flooding back again.
