Captain America Winter Soldier Clip Just Shown At NYCC

Brendon's Update: In case anybody is confused, this is part of the footage show at San Diego Comic Con this summer. Read on for Rich's recap.

I'm at NYCC, and marvel's David Gabriel, as well as showing off already seen Avengers Age Of Ultron and Guardians Of The Galaxy clips from previous shows, gave us our first look at Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

And it mostly took place in an elevator, going up a cool, modern building, with Caotain America and a number of agents, heading to the roof. But some of the agents look rather suspect to Cap, their hands on their weapons. At which point a number of civilians take the elevator as well, heading to the Records department. They get out.

Cap states "before we get started, does anyone want to get out?"

They don't. And a big hand-to-hand fight in the cramped elevator commences, with magnets being used as restraining weapons, and lots of teasers. But it turns out. Captain America doesn't gaze easily.

The final assailant tells Cap "I just want you to know, Cap, this isn't personal."

"It kind of feels personal."

Whack, thud, down. Captain America still standing.

We hear him talking to Robert Redford, "I joined SHIELD to help people" who tells Cap "to build a better world, Megan's burning the world down. That makes enemies" and Cap talking to Nick Fury being told that SHIELD "neutralise a lot of threats before they happen" with Cap's concerns over presumed innocence, told "SHIELD treats the world like it is, not how we'd like it to be" o Cap's concern that "this is fear not freedom". Lots of explosions, tech, shooting, a SHIELD help arrived nose diving into the water and exploding.

And a cyborg handing picking up Cap's burnt shield… It's the Winter Panda. Sorry, Winter Soldier. With very dark eyes….
