Videos From The Inside Llewyn Davis Concert, Including Please Mr. Kennedy

Last night New York City played host to Another Day, Another Time: Celebrating the Music of Inside Llewyn Davis, a concert featuring a number of musical numbers from the upcoming Coen Brothers film, Inside Llewyn Davis.

You can read a bit more about the event here, in a story I wrote earlier this week.

A couple of hours after the event ended I scoured YouTube for videos, partly just to hear some of the songs again – the soundtrack is fantastic – but none were posted yet. It was only a matter of time though and videos are now beginning to surface online. Stereogum dug up one video from someone (Julie P) at the gig, who actually did a good job of recording a few of the performances.

The whole show will be shown on Showtime later this year but these videos should help tide you over until then.

First up, one of the musical highlights of the film, Please Mr. Kennedy, featuring a memorable performance by Adam Driver.
