Mara's Ming Doyle To Draw Quantum And Woody For Valiant Comics

Ming Doyle has most recently been drawing Mara, the comic written by Brian Wood from Image Comics. But it looks like she's stepping from creator owned to work for hire, for the second arc of the new reboot of Quantum & Woody from Valiant Entertainment, with writer James Asmus, starting with issue 5 in December.

The first issue left me cold but I confess I have rather warmed to it again since. And I thought Doyle knocked Mara out of the park..

CBR has a nice long prearranged interview with the creative team about how they are all excited to be working together. Tom Fowler's departure seems to be a fait accompli, planned going in.
