Metal Gear Solid V Characters Made More Erotic To Encourage Cosplay

Metal-Gear-Solid-5-Girl-WallpaperYou have to love it when someone just says the truth. The Hideo Kojima, game director for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain came out on his English Twitter account and admitted that the characters in MGS5 are being designed with a more erotic feel to encourage cosplay and the sale of figures. Not that this is suprising, but its rare to have someone just come out and say it. In quite a few tweets he explained how he instructed Yoji Shinkawa the art director to design the characters more erotic and how he was pleased with the results.

Now that people are starting to see how to use cosplay to make money, expect to hear more and more stories like this I would think.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has yet to have its release date announced… but I have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot of images from it very soon.

Here are the tweets from Hideo Kojima including an inspirational photo.
