Peter Milligan To Write Bleeding Cool's Shadowman #13X – And The Ongoing Series

This November, Bleeding Cool Magazine #7, for a mere $1.99, will also contain Shadowman #13X bagged in the issue, an extra, in-continuity Shadowman story that will debut the new writer, Peter Milligan, on the book, with Diego Bernard on art.

Then in December, Peter Milligan will begin writing the series proper with Shadowman #13 with Roberto De La Torre on art.

This is probably the highest profile hire of the new Valiant Entertainment to date, Milligan bringing a long history on 2000AD, Strange Days, Skin, Skreemer, Shade The Changing Man, Hellblazer, Enigma, Tank Girl, X-Statix, Red Lanterns, Justice League Dark and more. De La Torre is best known now for his recent Daredevil work.

When a troubled young man with a history of violence and a penchant for blackouts meets an overwhelming source of power with a mystical scythe, the results are doomed to be destructive. A voodoo loa has possessed Jack Boniface – or so he believes. But after Jack awakens in an alleyway covered in blood, he embarks on a journey across lands of shadows and death to discover if he can expel the dark force that's seized control of his life…and which may be responsible for a violent rampage through the city he swore to protect.
