DC Standard Covers For Villains Month Dominate Advance Reorders
So, the news of the allocated 3D covers for DC's Villain's Month in September and the release of the first round of 2D Standard Covers have dominated the top of the advance reorder chart, as retailers try to catch up on their numbers, also safe in the knowledge that they are all returnable. And Joker makes it to the top.
Other notable entrants include Marvel's Infinity #2 on the back of this week's sellout, the launch of Battle Of The Atom after Frank Cho's Herculean effort and of Forever Evil in the battle of the event comics, and the recreation in comics of George Lucas' early screenplay, The Star Wars, seems to fascinate as well.
Also worthy of note is the appearance of Superior Spider-Man, still putting on sales and interest as retailers struggle to keep up with demand. Maybe it's time for Mandarin to get in the Iron Man suit in a copycat affair…
