Speculator Corner: Skyward #1

skywardYou may have read about Skyward, a new title from Action Lab, in Bleeding Cool's article by our relatively new staffer Dan Wickline. (How rude, I never did introductions, Dan, Bleeding Cool readership, Bleeding Cool readership, Dan.)

Dan commented that Action Lab had taken the decision to reduce their all-ages comics titles cover price from $3.99 to $2.99.

Which is all very well, if the market plays along. It didn't.

First people snapped up all the Buy It Now issues on eBay at $3.99 each. Then at $5.69.

Then at $20.

Then at $38.99.

Then settling in at around $30. For a all ages indie comic that was $3.99 a couple of weeks ago.

Did you pick up a copy on our recommendation? Did you pick up two copies?

Oh and it's only 99 cents on ComiXology…

And Skyward #2? Still going for $2.99 in print. So far.
