Painkiller Jane was originally created in 1995 by Jimmy Palmiotti and Joe Quesada for their Event Comics company. After her initial five-issue mini-series, the character appeared in quite a few crossovers including with The Punisher, Vampirella and Hellboy. She also spent time over at Dynamite Entertainment and was the basis for both a film and television series.
