Alan Moore Launches Kickstarter For New Film With Mitch Jenkins – His Heavy Heart

Alan Moore and Mitch JenkinsAlan Moore and Mitch Jenkins have launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter to fund a short film, His Heavy Heart.

This will be the fifth in a series of five such films, two of which have been released so far, with four finished, all of them set in and around Jimmy's End, a semi-fictional working men's club in Northampton.

Donor rewards include posters, T-shirts, signed DVDs, storyboards, photographs, screenplays, an invite to a screening in London, props, on screen credits and a personal visit to the set.

They are aiming to raise £45,000 and have £1000 so far with 29 days to go.

This film will conclude Moore's first produced film work, but a feature film exploring the same world, The Show, is also planned.

The first of the two released films can be viewed below, with a trailer for the second. They will be followed by Upon Reflection, A Professional Relationship and finally His Heavy Heart.
