It's Free Comic Book Day tomorrow! So let's look at three kids comics from three publishers showing off a number of strips.

First up, Top Shelf Comix Kids Club, with Owly, Korgi, Jonny Boo, Upside Down (above), Pirate Penguins Vs Ninja Chicken and more. All new stories, seen for the first time here. Oh and a preview of their graphic novel Monster On The Hill.

Wonderful stuff!

Kaboom! has reprints of licensed strips such as Adventure Time, Peanuts, Ice Age, Hero And The Bear, Garfield and our first look at Regular Show.

And, yes, they chose to reprint the incredible Adventure Time #10 with it's Choose-Your-Own-Adventure Time strip.

And then we have Ugly Doll Comics from Viz…

Ugly Doll Comic from Viz gives you not only a first glimpse at the new Ugly Doll comic, but also October's Hello Kitty, the autumn's Pokemon and the winter's Mameshiba.  And check out that Action Comics #1 reprise!

HelloKitty

It's fun but it is very squeaky clean. Compared to the other two, it is just too saccharine.

So which wins between Kaboom or Top Shelf? Well, Choose-Your-Own-Decision.

If you've already read Adventure Time #10, then Top Shelf wins hands down with its collection of new black and white comics and a preview of Monster On The Hill graphic novel.

But if not, the Kaboom! Choose-Your-Own-Adventure Time strip is so fun and so inventive it deserves it's reprinting here thoroughly and Kaboom wins!

Of course, since the comics are all free, everyone wins! Especcially kids… and speculators.
