Is Iron Man 3 The Last Iron Man Movie For Awhile? Thursday Trending Topics

I'd been thinking about this in the context of the eyebrow-raising a few weeks back over Robert Downey Jr deciding whether or not to re-up for the Iron Man role.  I've sort of been assuming they'll get him back for Avengers 2, but… it's very possible that'd be it.  That'd give him nearly a decade and five major movies of one role dominating his life, and that's a big chunk of time for any actor.  If he decides to hang it up, post-Avengers 2 would be a good time for them to hit pause, get someone else into the armor, and reboot the franchise around 2016-2017 or so.

Then again, yesterday's Quicksilver & Scarlet Witch rumor could imply another twist on that scenario (see pic at right). Time will tell.
