FCBD 2013: Free Comic Book Day From Manhattan To Quebec

May The Fourth, Free Comic Book Day, marches on. But where can you go for even more than free comics?

Jim Lee and Scott Snyder will be signing at Midtown Comics Downtown in Manhattan on Free Comic Book Day, May the 4th, as are Nate Crosby and Chris Eliopolis of Archaia's Cow Boy. They will have three Midtown FCBD branded titles, Superman, Infinity and Valiant 2013.

Zapp Comics in New Jersey will have a siging with Dan Slott in the afternoon.

Third Eye of Maryland will also be marking their fifth anniversary on Free Comic Book Day.

At their Annapolis store, they'll have Cullen Bunn, Charles Soule, Jerry & Penelope Gaylord, Duane Swierczynski, Joshua Dysart, Joelle Jones, Bryan Turner, Billy Martin, Brent Allen and Brian Hurtt sketching and signing, along with a stack of prizes, activities, photo ops and sales…

Ultimate Comics in Durham, NC have Tommy Lee Edwards, Brian Clevinger, Charles Paul Wilson, Mike DeVito, David Rodriguez, Richard Case, Jeremy Whitley, Richard Case, Jeremy Whitely, Jason Strutz, Banson Ragan, Joe Meno, and more.

Larry Doherty of Larry's Comics, Massachusetts, has Herb Trimpe, Joe Harris and Tyler James in residence.

Last year my store printed its own free comic book to add to the FCBD offerings: 52 pages by professionals and amateurs. We even had material sent by Top Cow and Dale Eaglesham. We are doing another one this year. And something is happening: three other stores will be giving our book as well. So we named the event "Le Samedi de la B.D. Gratuite". And we got the approval of the FCBD organizers. Jean-Dominic Leduc, a Québec french speaking actor and "chroniqueur bd journal de Montreal" witch mean comic books chronicler accepted to do a short promotional video
