Aaron Haaland from A Comic Shop writes;

Hey Fandom! It's me, Aaron for A Comic Show's New Comics Now!

This week's biggest deal book is Guardians of the Galaxy #1 by Bendis and McNiven. I freaking loved it and that's coming from a huge DnA fan. Bendis did deal with the death of Starlord in Thanos Imperative, and I do yearn to know what the frak happened to Rich Rider sooner rather than later. However, Rocket Raccoon was on target as was his pal Groot! The Scottie Young baby variants and lithos were awesome, the free trading cards felt retro cool, and our GotG #1 release party is gonna rock! We're giving out the comic free to all who show up and we now have our beer and wine license, so it's on! Oh, and it's the standard cover that's free, the Phantom Variant with Thanos is on eBay!

DC had the emotionally charged Batman Inc #9, the actual funeral requiem, and Aquaman with the return of Tula and someone else!

Image and Hickman's East of West is the best book of the week easily (maybe even the best of the month). My advise, get your's early on Wednesday before they sell out nation wide. If you don't like it, sell it. It's an Image #1 after all! But then go get professional help because the things that divide us are stronger than the things that unite us if we disagree on this comic! And Mark Waid's Green Hornet is a game changer for the character, but I did say "Mark Waid's" Green Hornet so that was kinda redundant.
Thanks for watching and enjoy one of these books!
