ComiXology All Over The World – Lot 13 Takes Israel, Superf*ckers Take China, My Little Pony Takes Russia

ComiXology, strong and warm and wild and free. What's that? Oh just singing about Comixology to the tune of Billy Bragg's "Sexuality" because they have the same amount of syllables and both end in "y". Takin' a look at this weeks charts from around the world and like every week there's surprises, unsurprises, adorability (hello japan) and Superf*ckers. Bendis' All New X-Men #2 does boffo business the world over, coming in at the top spot in Great Britain, Canada, U.S., Australia, Philippines, France, Brazil and Norway while it shows up on nearly every chart save for China, Japan, Russia, Greece, India and Israel. Uncanny Avengers #2 capitalizes on the world's obsession with postmortem brain theft topping the charts in Spain, Italy and Ireland, Batman Inc. #5's dark future wins the hearts of Mexico comixology users, Transformers: Rage of the Dinobots #1 is number one in Japan, their love of giant fighting robots, just winning over their love of adorable cute things (take note, Lil Batman is definitely still on the chart for them), China kind of flips my wig this week giving the top honor to Superf*ckers which I believe is a collected edition from Top Shelf (may have something to do with the upcoming cartoon, airing today – Rich), India is having a love affair with DC this week with most of the chart being taken up by Team Warner and giving the number one spot to Superman #14, when you think Russia of course you think "Friendship is magic", duh, so it should come as no surprise to you to learn that My Little Pony is stealing the hearts and minds of Russian comixology users as it takes the top spot this week, Greece has seen it's share of scary business as of late (no pun intended, maybe slightly intended) and so then it should come as no surprise that something called Four Horsemen Of the Apocalypse: Revelation #1 was the most popular this week, Walking Dead #104 is in the lead in Germany (if comics are being bought or sold, you better believe it's on a chart somewhere), and Israel gives love to Niles and Fabry's excellent Lot 13 #2. Judge Dredd has a strong showing making it on to a lot of charts a full week after it dropped, as the year winds down the charts take on the appearance of a kind of summation of the past 12 months with AvX and Before Watchmen titles still showing up and hanging on, but enough new stuff to balance it out, with the new FF showing up quite a lot as well as other Marvel Now titles. A good, interesting week to be on comiXology.
