Brian Vaughan And Fiona Staples' Saga Is "Under Review" At Amazon

Brian Vaughan And Fiona Staples' Saga Is "Under Review" At AmazonThis is an odd one.

The first trade paperback of Brian Vaughan and Fiona Staples' Saga, out last week, has been withdrawn from sale through Amazon.com, as it is "unde review". This kind of action is usually concerned with product quality issues, as if there were missing pages, or ir repeated deliveries were described as damaged by customers and there was a problem in the system.

There are however, concerns that this may have something to do with the comic book itself, a sci-fi-fantasy that isn;t backwards when it comes to being forward about sex, nudity and media satire.

However it's not that explicit, it's certainly far tamer than a lot of other work being sold by Amazon.

The book is certainly still available through sellers in Amazon Marketplace, through comic stores, through other online bookshops, without anyone else making any kind of complaint. Image Comics also seem none the wiser.

Anyone actually at Amazon care to clue us in?
