Grifter, Legion Lost And Blue Beetle Join The DC Cancellations
Blue Beetle, Legion Lost, Grifter join Frankenstein in the list of comics making their final issues in January, as part of DC's commitment to refreshing titles and losing books that aren't gaining sales or high critical reception.
It's also the lineup that Rob Liefeld predicted would be cancelled.
And while we know that we're getting Justice League Of America and Threshold in replacement… we need two more to make up the New 52. Time for another mini-Wave?
I understand that Threshold was originally planned for the current wave of new titles but was delayed for personal reasons. Starting an issue early may mean it was originally planned to be a year zero title…
In other news, Ravagers loses Howard Mackie as a writer as reported earlier by Bleeding Cool, replacing him with Michael Alan Nelson. As is Robert Venditti replacing Paul Cornell, also from earlier.
