Doujin Anime Artist Destiny Blue At NYCC – Look! It Moves!

Adi Tantimedh reports from the floor of NYCC for Bleeding Cool;

British-born doujin anime artist Destiny Blue is a longtime friend of Bleeding Cool's.  When I decided to shoot videos at NYCC, I wanted to show not just the usual superhero and mainstream figures, but also faces of the growing international doujin ("independent") manga and anime artist scene who come from the West.  Artists like Destiny Blue are a growing part of major comic conventions.  Many of these artists are women, which puts paid to the stereotype of nerdy men artists.  She and many artists like her travel conventions around the world selling their illustrations to manga and anime fans.
