The Re-Reconstructed Tales Of The Black Freighter From Watchmen

A few years ago, an aspiring fellow reconstructed the Tales Of The Black Freighter comic from the fragments seen in Watchmen, the panels and the captions that extended into the rest of the comic.

But that wasn't enough. Jeff Pedigo has filed in the blank panels with images as seen in the Black Freighter film from the Watchmen movie.

When that movie came out, DC had planned to create and publish a Tales Of The Black Freighter comic, with Dave Gibbons filling in the panel art. Alan Moore acquesced as long as his name wasn't on the book – only to discover bthat no one's name was going to be on the book, apart from the fictitious creators. He then asked that there be a note stating that he had nothing to do with the publication of comic. And suddenly… the comic was no more. This is the closest you will get it it…
