Good Comic Shops To Get Early Christmas Presents This YearHe's checking it once, he's checking it twice. He's going to find out if your comic book retailer has been naughty or nice.

It appears that, just as in 2009, there will be no comic book delivery on Christmas week in 2012, as the usual delivery day falls on Christmas Day.

Last time, DC Comics shipped Blackest Night #6 a week early, to be sold on that skip day. And it mostly worked.

Well, this time every publisher being given the option to do it. Delivering the Christmas week's comics one week early, to be held in the back until the next week. And unlike the-advance shipped Avengers Vs X-Men #1, retailers will only be billed for the comics on December the 26th.

Good comic shops that is. Not the ones that have sold embargoed comics early, or course.

The subsequent weeks' books will ship to stores on the Wednesday in the US and Canada. And sometime later in the UK…
