Speculator Corner: Phonogram

Speculator Corner: PhonogramWell it's taken long enough.

But with the third and final volume of Phonogram being announced for later this year, Immaterial Girl, it seems there's been a peak of interest in earlier volumes of the comic. And the discovery that they are rather hard to find. And the creative team are doing rather critically acclaimed and popular work for Marvel, such as Uncanny X-Men.

Put it all together… and a VFN copy of Phonogram Vol 1 #1 just sold for over $14. with issue 2 for $5.70.

Is something brewing here? Is there any chance a Near Mint copy might join the $50 club by the end of the year?

No one has bothered CGC-ing any Phonogram, except for five copies of the recalled reprinted colume 2 issue 5 which genuinely does go for $75 now, and did make it to one or two British shops…
