Avengers Heroic Age Hardcover (Hulk Not Included)

The Avengers: Heroic Age by Brian Michael Bendis, which came out this week, features Bendis' first seventeen Avengers comics under the "Heroic Age" banner from just over a year ago, in Marvel's oversized hardback format at a pretty reasonable price, just in time for The Avengers movie. Indeed, so keen is Marvel for punters to make the connection between the film and the comic that they've used one of the film's promotional images for the cover of the version they send to bookstores.

But perhaps someone in Marvel's legal department thought they'd pushed the connections a little too far? And hence this slightly pedantic disclaimer appears at the bottom of the front cover:

Avengers Heroic Age Hardcover (Hulk Not Included)

What was the problem, I wonder? Not enough Hulk? He is in it a little bit…
