Guy Pearce Keeps Up The Surly Badass Act In New Clip From Lock Out

It would seem that Lock Out owes a debt to Escape From New York, and Guy Pearce‘s character, Snow, has some things in common with Snake Plisken. Just check the attitude in this new clip from the film.

Europacorp have a pretty good hit rate with these pulpy, action thrillers – even when they owe a debt to John Carpenter.

Lock Out is the debut film of James Mather and Stephen Saint Leger, directors of the popular short Prey Alone. I won’t be surprised if it becomes a Taken-sized hit, and has a similar effect on the career of Guy Pearce, turning him into the next Liam Neeson-y unexpected action man.
