Tuesday Runaround – Psychoanalysing Catwoman #1 And The String Of PearlsStageWatch: The Ballad Of Halo Jones? It's a smash hit!

LetterWatch: Nate Piekos breaks down lettering choices.

PearlWatch: A psychoanalysis of Catwoman #1.

Here she lies, holding aloft her trophy – the limp genitals of Gotham's Dark Knight, spilling the last of their seed in a mocking imitation of the porn movie 'cum shot'. The milky pearls, symbol of fertility, have been transformed into diamonds – formed not within the nurturing womb of an oyster, but crushed by the weight of the earth, cold and sterile.

ContractWatch: Jamal Igle announces he is no longer exclusive to DC Comics and has some exciting projects ahead, as a free man.

Well, for one I already have a some comics work coming up, which will be announced soon, as well as securing other work in and out of the industry. I'm also available for work as well. I'll be taking private commissions and developing some projects and pitching some of the creator owned concepts I've been working on over the last few years…. Does this mean I'll never work for DC Comics again, far from it. It may be sometime before you see my name on  DC book however, since there have not been any conversations about future work.

AwardWatch: The open nominations for the Eagle Awards for 2011 are up. Even if, in places, the form still says 2010. Oh look, Bleeding Cool has been nominated.

IndiaWatch: India looks to social media to revive their comics industry.

Jitin Verma, the founder of a media house called Comic Con India said: "In terms of companies growing, there's a lot of potential. FlexWatch: Reports flooding in of Flex Mentallo collections being cancelled by Amazon in the UK. Investigating…

Tuesday Runaround – Psychoanalysing Catwoman #1 And The String Of PearlsThis is Computo the Comic Link Conqueror speaking. I come for your women. But for now I merely collate comic-related bits and pieces online. One day I will rule. Until that day, read on.

Kesel and Grummett's SECTION ZERO returns as webcomic

SECTION ZERO ia a comic Tom Grummett and I co-created in 2000 as part of Image's Gorilla Comics imprint, along with some other titles by people you may have heard of: Busiek and Immonen's Shockrockets, Waid and Kitson's Empire, Perez's Crimson Plague, and Dezago and Wieringo's Tellos. It was my first creator-owned comic and, I gotta tell you, I had the time of my life. But then life took an unexpected turn (I got divorced) and in the middle of its first six-issue arc, SECTION ZERO went on indefinite hiatus.
